At the border between the Eastern Carpathians and the Southern Carpathians there is a place scattered at the peak, Poiana Marului.

Three mountain ranges surround the area in the distance, Piatra Craiului massif, Leaota massif and Bucegi mountains. The locals have made a living by capitalizing the gifts of nature, the forest, the hills and a stream which soon became the foundation for long-lasting households.

Traditions have been sacredly kept for centuries, while the wish to carry forward the local history and mostly the tradition, inspired a range of authentic products.

The fresh, tender meat and the traditional recipes from barsa country are the attributes that define the identity of Sergiana Poiana Marului products.
